I was approached by the band management of 'The King Blues' to create a merchandise range for the band to be sold on tour, web and retail. Working closely with the band the emphasis was on hand rendered artwork and typography.

Here is a picture of the 'I SAW PULP LIVE' tee shirt. The lettering is a 'flock' adhesive and the lettering and slogan layout are a homage to the 1970's Rock tee shirts of musicians such as David Gilmour and John Lennon.

The Biffy Clyro Only Revolutions design was used as a embroidery for tour jackets and bags, and as the front print for the ladies tour tee shirt.
JLS Merchandise '11

JLS Silhouette design - a montage of movements from each member of the band in his own trademark colour. This design was Silk Screen printed onto a White Sweatshirt.
Madness 2009

When I was approached by Slipstream to art direct the Madness merchandise range and apparel, my focus was to uncover and regenerate graphics and photographs to appear fresh, iconic, and appealing to a younger generation, who may be discovering the band for the first time. This also tied in with the bands 30th anniversary celebrations, these graphics were also used with a co-branding project with Ben Sherman.
